Amity Artisan Goods

About Amity

More than a retail store, Amity is a center for underserved artists, women, immigrants, LGBTQ, BIPOC, Latinx, and AAPI makers. We feature handmade goods from historically marginalized groups and provide a platform for them to shine.

"Together we are stronger".

Its founder, Alshiref Eskander, started in 2014 with a graphic design and textile print business, he shortly initiated in setting up at street fairs and holiday venues around Portland. Through these events he met a myriad of local artists and creators that inspired him to, one day, establish a permanent hub where everyone could express their art forms. In the last 3 years, Alshiref had the opportunity to successfully open Pop-Up stores in North and SW Portland. This positive outcome led him, with the support of the city of Portland, namely Livelihood NW and Prosper Portland to achieve a dream of establishing Amity Artisan Goods in 2021.
