Milica Koscica is the Development & Fundraising Manager at Livelihood NW, where she leads relationship-based fundraising efforts to expand resources and partnerships that support local entrepreneurs and small businesses across Oregon and Southwest Washington. Working closely with the Executive Director, she cultivates philanthropic, corporate, and public funding while strengthening donor engagement and community partnerships to advance a more inclusive and resilient economy.
With more than two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector, Milica is a strategic fundraising leader who has supported a wide range of mission-driven organizations spanning economic opportunity, human rights, conservation, peacebuilding, and community development. She has designed and led comprehensive development strategies, built strong institutional partnerships, and aligned fundraising initiatives with long-term organizational growth.
Previously, she held senior philanthropy roles at nationally and internationally recognized nonprofits, including The Nature Conservancy, and served in leadership positions with a national civil and human rights coalition and an international peace and development organization operating in Vietnam.
Milica holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from American University and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University. Originally from Serbia, she has lived and worked in Washington, DC, New York City, and Seattle, and now proudly calls Portland, Oregon, home.
