Portland State University Business Capstone Program

Are you interested in having a team of PSU senior business students spend an entire term diving into your business to develop a plan for you? If that appeals to you, read on…

Selected businesses will work with 1-2 teams of 5-6 students each as the students work to solve real business issues and apply their business school learnings. They are able to research and prepare some recommendations over a 10-week term based on the business owner’s desired project scope/focus. 

Example projects include:

  • General: Business plan, Feasibility study, Business expansion strategy, Exit strategy

  • Finance: Finance plan

  • Supply chain set-up: Import/export

  • R&D: Product development strategy

  • Marketing: Market plan, Market assessment/forecast, Market entry plan, Go to market strategy, Advertising Strategy

There is no cost to participate in this program, but there is a time commitment.
