Parvaneh is a passionate artist who, along with her two children, sought refuge in the charming town of Portland, Oregon, after leaving Iran behind. In her homeland, she had a thriving fashion studio in Tehran, where she crafted everything from jewelry and shoes to women's haute couture.

The greater gender equality in America has allowed her to flourish, and now, in their new home, she is embarking on the journey of rebuilding her life.
